I was first introduced to this author on PBS. She talked a good talk and was real convincing that she could help. So I purchased her CD. But after listening, and listening, and more listening, waiting to get to some practical advise, when she finally arrived, there wasn't any real practical advise, just that of "purchase her products to get the results you want!" Don't bother wasting your time or money .... just another scam artist.

I was disappointed because the book didn't really have much new that I didn't already know. Was hoping for more juice based on the title!
However, I did glean some interesting info on nitric oxide, so will be quoting her in my next book. Apparently this stuff really helps with orgasms. She also give info on how to increase it. There is an entire chapter on that, which did make the book worthwhile for me.
There is also a chapter on "7 keys that will open the door to wonderful sexuality and sensuality after menopause" which basically entail old-idea things like lingerie, music, bubble baths, affirmations, and g-spot stimulation. She claims that post menopausal women are most active when they find a new partner. But for those of us who are happily married, she suggests BEING the new partner, reinventing yourself.

THE SECRETS PLEASURES OF MENOPAUSE-I KNEW SOMEONE OUT THERE COULD EXPLAIN WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO MY BODY.SO I DECIDED TO GET THIS BOOK AND WHEN I GOT IT, IT WAS SO AMAZING HOW LIFE CAN BE GOOD IN PERIMENOPAUSE, I THOUGHT LIFE WAS OVER. I DISCOVERED THERE WERE OPTIONS IN TREATING ALL THOSE SYMPTOMS.I AM NOT QUITE DONE WITH THE BOOK,BUT EVERYONE WHO NEEDS ANSWERS THAT YOUR DOCTOR CAN NOT EXPLAIN.........THIS IS THE BOOK TO HAVE. THANK YOU CHRISTIANE NORTHRUP.

Actually I have not received my book yet and it has been 6 weeks since I ordered it. I have sent repeated emails to the DVDlegacy vendor with no results. I have never had such poor customer service, particularly in responding to my inquiries. I finally requested my money be reimbursed and have heard nothing, of course.
I am seriously thinking of not ordering anything else from Amazon.com which is too bad. Former business transactions have been satisfactory.
