Dr. Northrup's presents an incredible mix of medical science, psychology, and philosophy to spell out how women (and men too for that matter) can not only live a healthier life after menopause but FLOURISH as well! She will have you laughing and crying and seeing yourself in a lot of her examples.
I'm not sure how far into the "New Age" Philosophy she is but she talks about things like bioidentical hormones, herbal treatments, "pain body" at mid-life, as well as traditional medical treatments.
Although I'm not into "New Age" (I do believe in the power of herbs!)I totally enjoyed the CD and found it uplifting.
