Sex For Dummies: I saw this book while perusing Amazon, and could not believe it. Not only is this company marketing their products to mentally-challenged people, but they are doing it right out in the open! Surely the mentally-handicapped, who oftentimes work menial jobs for little or no pay, need their money more than any other group? But no, this soulless corporation keeps churning out their books designed to take our slower brothers' and sisters' last dime. How exactly are the books "For Dummies?" I'm not sure; perhaps they have large, colorful pictures or have scratch-and-sniff components. No matter, the point still stands that this company is trying to take advantage of the mentally-impared and must be stopped.
And furthermore, "Sex for Dummies?" Really? I'm as liberal as the next guy, but are the mentally-challenged really the kind of people we want reproducing? I'm not saying we round them up into camps or anything, but if you can figure out a way to keep `em childless, so much so the better.
To conclude: Not only does this book take advantage of the less-fortunate, but it strives to create a world in which there are even more of said less-fortunate. Two stars.

My partner and I were having a sexual problem. We are both retired and want to have a rewarding sex life together. Dr. Ruth gave me insight to try a couple of new things that are really helping.

I bought this for my 24 year old sister for her bachelorette party as a gag-gift several years ago and by the end of the night EVERYONE had read some of it-including the guys! I read it, too, and felt it was a great tool for my children once they were a bit more 'mature.' I know they can find out things on the internet about sex, but I decided to buy it for my son (16) and my daughter (20) and give it to them stating "Knowledge is Power, my sweets!" My daughter was thrilled and although my son was a bit more demure, I truly feel that it's the book they will reference for straight-forward, honest, correct answers in an empowering way.

i originally bought it for novelty. but i started reading it. i thought i knew one hell of a lot in terms of sex (lots of intimate girlfriends) but appearantly there is a hell of a lot i didn't know. score one for the jewish writer Dr. Ruth (she tells you she's a jew many times in the book). if you know jack about sex or even if you think you know it all, trust me, pick up this book and learn. it'll change your perspective. it did mine.
