I'm so glad I purchased this book; very informative. I'm a RN &
trying to take care of my health naturally instead of using more chemicals and synthetics in my body. Dr. Lee's book helped me make an important decision on how to deal with 'menapause'. Thank-you Amazon for making this book available to the public!

Helps to have a good idea of what is going on and when. As we get older, its always hard to understand the changes we are going through. We have purchsaed a couple books to make sure we see if there are other views or ideas on what is going on that will work best for my wife. So far things are going well.

5 out of 5 stars EVERY WOMAN SHOULD OWN THIS BOOK!   June 4, 2009

I had a hysterectomy at 40 years old. My doctor did put me on a bioidential estrodial patch. I ask her about balancing the estrodial with progesterone and she said, "You don't need it because you don't have a uterus." Well I became very "estrogen dominant." I felt so bad. I then went to another doctor who was suppose to be an expert in hormones. I told her the patch was causing red marks on me and that I thought there was something wrong with the strength. She then prescribed Evamist spray and told me to take 2 sprays a day. I again ask about balancing the estrodial with progesterone. She also said, "You don't have a uterus you don't need it." Well I took this overdose of estrogen for 2 weeks before I developed a condition called "interstitial cystitis." While researching why my body was out of balance I found this book. Thank God! I learned why it is important to balance your hormones. I started taking progesterone and my symptoms got better. I am still not totally balanced and plan to find another doctor to help me with testosterone. Thank you doctor Lee for caring about women more than MONEY! (Which I am finding is rare today).

This book is very imperative! If you are female you cannot afford not to read this book. I am a medical research nurse and know the ins and outs of the drug company scams. America is the only country where menopause is a disease, is menstruation or chilbirth a disease?

The most accurate, concise and easily understood book on bio-identical hormones I have found. I recommend it to patients often.
