Good information to have July 21, 2010 S.W.R. I wish this information had been available 15 years ago when my mother had cancer, took chemo, had radiation and died a miserable early death. Without the chemo poisons I think she would have lived longer and felt better during her final days. After reading this book and some others, I'm working on improving the diet of myself and my family. Thank you Suzanne for this book.
Excellant information but a lot of "filler" July 19, 2010 N. Pisani (Albany, OR USA) My wife and I are only about 1/3rd or a little more through with Suzanne Somers book. I am a virgo and they say we like things orderly and consise. This book is indeed orderly, for being concise, the book leaves a little to be desired. The main point that I have gained is that our "american diets" are killing us. The book vindicates me as I have said that radition and chemotherepy are a waste. I have always felt that these treatments were borrowed from Nazi, Germany, and if (probably "when") I get Cancer, I would take the Nick $401 dollar cure. The $401 cure?....it is a gun and a bullet! Now I am beginning to have some hope. My wife and I plan to change our diets. Suzanne Somers interviewd several doctors, in her book. I think she must have recorded the interviews and had them transcribed for the book. Not very creative to my way of thinking but very effective to see the various "takes" on this desease. The plus side to this method is that the wiriter is not editorializing the information obtained for her book. In any event if this book gets me off my backside, changes my life, and I avoid dying from this desease, I will love to live out my life until my heart stops beating. What a blessing that would be, "Thank you" Suzanne Somers.
Read this book! July 15, 2010 Tommeliam Bradaigh (Grays Harbor County, WA USA) A must read for all those concerned about cancer, its alternative treatment options and the related politics and economics in America today.
Should be required reading for anyone with cancer or anyone wanting to prevent it. July 11, 2010 Ma Lo (NY) This is a very important book. I've been buying a bunch and giving them to friends who have been recently diagnosed with cancer (that's 5 people within my small sphere of friends!) Somers is brave to try to get the word out about stuff that is really working that's not mentioned by conventional doctors. What scares me is that even before I read her book when I would ask my oncologist about alternatives to treatments that were making me sick they had absolutely no curiosity about even the possibility of using something different even if it was helpful! Much of what she helps reveal in her interviews jives with my own experience and reading. Some of the advice is very easy to follow and would support anyone trying to lead a healthier life as well as those living with or facing cancer. You owe it to yourself and loved ones to read this book!
Knockout June 24, 2010 Bonton (Colorado) This book needs to be read by everyone. It provides new insight into alternatives to cancer treatment by competent doctors unwilling to accept the mainstream medicine's approach. Highly recommend.
